The School crest incorporates the Josephite Cross. The Shamrock represents our parish of St Patrick. The letters JMJ is the symbol of the Holy Family, Jesus, Mary and Joseph.
In addition, JMJ is the symbol worn by the Sisters of St Joseph who have taught in our school since 1883. It is a link to our Josephite charism and to St Joseph, under whose patronage this school was placed from 1895 to 1983.
“Grow by God’s Gifts”
“There are different kinds of spiritual gifts, but the same Spirit gives them.
There are different ways of serving, but the same Lord is served.
There are different abilities to perform service, but the same God gives ability to
everyone for their service.
The Spirit’s presence is shown in some way in each one, for the good of all.”
- Corinthians 12:4-7
